Let’s get inventing!

If the Wright brothers and Henry Ford had gone to Camp Invention, we would all have flying cars today.
Okay, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch, but it’s not a stretch to say the nationally-recognized summer program teaches kids how to solve problems, think creatively and bring new ideas to life.
Last week, Oxford Elementary School hosted Camp Invention, which allowed students in grades 1-8 to explore the wonderful world of science, technology, engineering and math.
In teacher Natalie Daversa’s classroom, the students took apart old electronic devices and repurposed their components – motors, fans, LEDs, etc. – to create inventions designed to improve people’s lives and the world around them.
