Sept. 25: A 39-year-old male living on the 1500 Deer Path Trail called Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies at 6:42 p.m. to report someone had rifled through his car parked in front of his home on Sept. 23 at 5:22 a.m. Surveillance footage reportedly showed a mid-sized sedan pull in the driveway. One male exited the sedan with a flashlight, opened the door and allegedly rifled the the center console. The white male suspect was described to be younger, tall, slim and was wearing light-colored Adidas tennis shoes, light-colored cargo shorts, a light-colored hooded sweatshirt with dark sleeves and a black baseball cap. A second suspect was allegedly shown to attempt opening the door of another jeep parked in the driveway, but was unable to get into the locked vehicle.

Sept. 25: A resident of the 17 block of Center St. called Oxford Village Police after an unknown suspect knocked on their window at 11 p.m., then ran towards the Polly Ann Trail.

Sept. 24: A 51-year-old man from Oxford reported to Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies that his 17-year-old daughter had run away from home at 7:13 p.m.. She had left with a friend around noon that day and did not return. She is described as white with a medium build, hazel-colored eyes and purple, shoulder-length hair. She was entered into the LEIN system as a missing person.

Sept. 24: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called at 1:38 p.m. when a 44-year-old woman was found dead by a family friend at a home on the 200 block of Hunter’s Rill, where she had been staying. The family friend had last seen her alive at 11 a.m. that morning, when she had gotten up to use the restroom. When the family friend left her bedroom again at 1:30 p.m., she found the woman unresponsive and without a pulse, laying on the couch. The woman was reported by her daughter to have suffered from severe seizures and asthma.

Sept. 22: Oxford Village Police were called at 5:48 p.m. after the caller had spotted a loose brown/white/black dog with floppy ears running near Pontiac and Park St.
