Oxford resident Connie Miller travelled to Richmond, Indiana on Friday to receive her award at the 2016 Philo Festival of Media Arts. Miller, who hosts “Connie’s Kitchen” on Oxford Community Television, was named the winner in the “instructional” category for an episode of her cooking show that aired in October 2015. She was presented the award at the Wayne County Historical Museum, which was all decked out for Halloween. “Connie’s Kitchen” is a 30-minute program that features Miller and guests preparing various dishes from the kitchen at Treetop Lodge in Dryden Township. The show began airing in September 2014. “Connie’s Kitchen” airs at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
