Henry, an adult German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix, waits patiently for someone to adopt him at the Second Annual Putts for Paws charity golf outing held Sunday at Devil’s Ridge Golf Club in Oxford. Sponsored by Dr. Elena Osborne, owner of Veterinary Home Care, the event netted an estimated $12,500, which will be split 50/50 between the Oxford-based K-9 Stray Rescue League and the Canine Companions Rescue Center. That’s up from last year’s event, which netted $9,800. A total of 60 golfers participated in the outing. Henry is available through the K-9 Stray Rescue League. For more photos, please see Page 13.
