Oxford’s varsity boys soccer team ended its season on Monday with a 5-0 loss to Lake Orion. Wildcat booters gave up two goals in the first half and three in the second.

In its final home game of the season on Oct. 11, the soccer squad gave a solid effort and finished in a 1-1 tie with the Fenton Tigers.

Senior defender Hunter Birchard scored off a corner kick, nodding a powerful header into the back of the net from freshman Nick Morawski.

Oxford’s overall record is 6-9-4.
