Collison sends two to hospital

Two women were transported to the POH Medical Center in Pontiac Friday after their vehicle was struck by van, ironically owned by POH.
A 38-year-old Oxford woman and her passenger, an 84-year-old woman, were travelling south on M-24 when their 1997 Pontiac was rear-ended by a 2001 Ford van, owned by POH and driven by a 33-year-old Sterling Heights man.
The crash occurred just south of Oakdell Road.
The Sterling Heights man admitted to Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies he was ‘not paying attention when he crashed? into the car, the report stated. He was cited for being unable to stop in an assured clear distance.
