‘Drive In’ Movie Night at OUMC

Oxford United Methodist Church is inviting kids and their families to do a fun craft, then watch a funny flick as part of its “Drive In” Movie Night on Friday, May 12.

Admission is free.

The fun begins at 6 p.m. as kids will be given an opportunity to transform ordinary cardboard boxes into cool-looking cars.

Car-decorating will run until 7 p.m. when the movie “Sing,” a 2016 animated musical comedy, will be shown. Kids are invited to watch the movie while sitting in their “cars,” just like at an old-fashioned drive-in theater.

Big kids (i.e. adults) are invited to bring their own boxes and turn them into cars if they wish. Kids may also choose to decorate a box at home, then bring it to the movie.

Popcorn will be provided.

Oxford United Methodist is located at 21 E. Burdick St. For more information, please call Amie Von Knorring at (248) 342-8051.
