Four generations of Shermans gathered at Independence Village of Waterstone on Friday. Retired Oxford Leader Publisher James A. Sherman, Sr. (center, seated) met his 7-month-old great-granddaughter, Adalyn Belle Offer, for the very first time. Holding Adalyn is proud father Dan Offer. To the right of Mr. Sherman is his daughter Luan Offer, Adalyn’s grandmother and co-owner of Sherman Publications, Inc.
