Christ the King Church’s Veterans Ministry in Oxford is holding a fund-raising event on Saturday, May 20.

It’s called “A Warriors Path” and it will include a 10-kilometer run beginning at 8 a.m.; a 5-kilometer run/walk starting at 8:10 a.m.; and a 2-kilometer kids run at 10 a.m. The event is designed to honor and help veterans in need.

Race day registration will occur from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. The cost is $30 for the 10K run, $25 for the 5K run/walk and $5 for the 2K kids run.

Race fees include a t-shirt for the first 150 registrants, race bib, a finishers medal, dog tag for the kids run and post-race refreshments. Participants’ family members and friends are welcome to attend as there is no charge for spectators.
