Joann Alice Meagher, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2016. She was 90.
Joann was born September 9, 1925 to Cora and Arthur Widrig. She was the last surviving sibling of five sisters and preceded in death by her husband Eugene.
She is survived by son Tom (Jackie) Meagher, grandchildren Tracey Meagher (Steve Brugioni) Jennifer (Joe) Nickson; great-grandchildren Arianna, Sabrina and Madden, among many other honorary grandchildren.
A committal service will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery (99 W. Burdick St. Oxford, MI) Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:30 am followed by a Celebration of Life at Oxford Hills Golf Club (300 S. Drahner Rd., Oxford, MI) at 11:30 am. Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, Oxford.
