Mabel McCarty, of Lake Orion, passed away on June 15, 2016. She was 95.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond McCarty in 1999, as well as by two grandchildren, Eric McCarty and Carra McCarty.

She is survived by her loving children James (Teresita) McCarty, Deanna (William) Vernagus and David McCarty; grandchildren: Julianne (Duncan) Lindsay, Ray (Karenn) Vernagus, Kevin (Andrea) Vernagus, Amy (Greg) Smith, Chris McCarty, Nina Riggs, Philip McCarty, Melanie Allen, Bethany Laswell, Devin McCarty, Dustin McCarty, Ryan McCarty, and Emma McCarty; as well as by 22 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

A funeral Mass took place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion on Saturday, June 18.

Interment was at St. Joseph Parrish Cemetery in Ubly, Michigan.
