Oxford’s cross country runners improved times and placement when competing in the Old Skool Classic on Saturday, Sept. 22. Oxford’s girls performed particularly well against the fellow OAA red division teams, making up the fastest schools in Oakland County.

Freshman Alaine Cusick had Oxford’s best finish of the day, coming in third for the 5,000 meter ninth grade girls race with a time of 22:22. Her fellow Wildcat Jenna Hickey came in near the front of the pack as well with an 11th place finish and a time of 23:53.
