The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information regarding an alleged purse snatcher (pictured right).
The incident occurred at the Oxford Meijer on Wednesday, April 28.
An Oxford woman was shopping with her small child in the pet department (looking at birds) when the man in the photograph allegedly stole the shopping cart in which she had placed her purse, the sheriff’s report stated.
The woman later found the cart at the front of the store with the items she intended to purchase still inside, but her purse was missing.
There was no cash in the purse, just her credit cards and checkbook.
Sheriff’s investigators are seeking any information about the man pictured in this store surveillance photo.
