Zoning Board of Appeals

Please be advised pursuant to the Provisions of Public Act 110 of 2006 as amended, the Township of Addison Zoning Board of Appeals at a regular meeting on September 14, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter, at the Addison Township, 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard, 48367 shall hold a public hearing to consider the following application based on materials and documents submitted by the applicant (s):

Case 17-05

Applicant: Donna and Jeff Bourgoin, owners. Kevin Kieltyka and Paul Zambron, applicants.

Address: 2568 Pebble Beach, Oakland MI. 48363

Property address: 649 Gravel Ridge, Leonard, MI. 48367

Parcel: 05.22.153.024

Zoning: Residential 1 (R-1)

The Applicant seeks a variance from the Township of Addison, Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Addison Township Zoning Ordinance, Article 13, Section 13.03 #5. A 17 foot and by the entire width of the property variance for the placement of a boulder landscape wall.

13.03 #5 A natural protection strip shall be maintained within twenty five (25) feet of the normal high-water line of the lake, which shall remain in native trees, shrubs or grass. The Natural protection strip shall not be filled or excavated except to position water pipes. Trees and shrubs may be pruned to afford a view of the water.

A copy of this notification is mailed to property owners of record within three hundred (300) feet of all boundaries. A copy of the application for case #17-05 may be purchased or viewed at the Clerk’s office at the address above during regular business hours. Your written comments are welcomed and encouraged and must be received no later than the time and date of the public hearing.
