The Village of Oxford is seeking qualified applicants for the Village’s Clerk/Treasurer position. The Clerk/Treasurer position is a highly-responsible, at-will position that is appointed and responsible to the Oxford Village Council. The incumbent will perform administrative work conducting the daily business activities of the Village including financial management and statutory clerk functions, with the exception of elections.

The incumbent will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly budget reports for the Village Council. The Clerk/Treasurer implements city policies, keeps records of all council proceedings, handles correspondence on behalf of the Village, prepares agendas and executes any assignments given by the council. This position has official responsibility for accounting for all receipts and disbursements in regard to municipal funds. This position is also responsible for overseeing the water, sewer, and rubbish service billing, as well as employee payroll and municipal investments. The incumbent will work closely with the Village Manager, and may be tasked with additional responsibilities as needed.

This is a full-time position with an expected salary range of $45,000 – $60,000 (DOQ), as well as health insurance, retirement, and vacation benefits.
