March 5: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies received a call at 7:22 p.m. from a group home located on the 900 block of E. Drahner Rd. regarding a fight which had occurred between five females, ages 11-15. Allegedly, three of the girls had become fed up with the two others, reporting that they had been verbally abusive and disrespectful before becoming physical towards them. The two victims were allegedly punched in the face and had their hair pulled during the brawl. Prior the Sheriff’s deputies arrival, all parties were seperated. Sheriff’s deputies noted in the report that they did not observe any visible marks on the two victims. Sheriff’s deputies spoke with the girls involved and informed them of other ways to deal with their emotions. The girls agreed there would be no more fighting.

March 4: Oxford Village police were called to the 100 block of Dennison St. at 4:22 p.m. in response to a report of a subject riding a 4-wheeler up and down the street. Village police spoke with the subject, who was allegedly testing repairs that had been made to the vehicle. The subject was advised not to test repairs in the roadway.

March 2: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies received a call to a home, located in the 100 block of Lakeshore Circle after an incidence of domestic violence allegedly took place between 5:40 p.m. and 7:26 p.m. A 47-year-old man living at the residence told Sheriff’s deputies one of his neighbors, a 33-year-old woman, had allegedly punched him in the face after his girlfriend had parked her truck in the woman’s driveway. The man was found by Sheriff’s deputies to have valid warrants for arrest and was transported to Oakland County Jail without incident. The incident is pending investigation.

March 1: Oxford Village Police were called to the the 80 block of Crawford St. where a 72-year-old resident had fallen accidentally at 2:25 p.m. Village police observed the woman to not be alert upon arrival. The woman was transported to Crittenton for treatment.

March 1: Oxford Village police recieved a report at 8:32 a.m. that a man wearing a backpack, tank top and shorts was holding what appeared to be one sword, while another appeared to be sticking out of the ground in the 200 block of S. Washington. Upon further investigation, Village police found the man had been removing signs which had been in the ground.
