April 22: Oxford Village Police were called to the 20 block of W. Burdick St., near Mechanic St. and Pocahontas Trail, at 12:34 p.m. where a set of keys had reportedly been found.

April 21: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called by a 52-year-old man from Oxford Township at 5:37 p.m. The man stated that his vehicle, which had been parked at his home in the 2000 block of Seymour Lake Rd., had been vandalized sometime between April 20 at 6 p.m. and April 21 at 11 a.m. Deputies observed the driver’s side window had been completely smashed. A metal pipe was found laying on the floor of the passenger’s side.

April 19: Oxford Village Police were called to the 600 block of S. Glaspie St., where a camper had allegedly been broken into. The owner, an Oxford Township resident, reported to be missing several items, including an Xbox, DVD player, fishing poles and a grill. Police observed two windows, one in the camper’s door and one in the rear, had been smashed. The incident was thought to have occurred approximately four weeks before the time of the report.

April 18: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 200 block of Franklin Lake Circle in Oxford at 3:17 p.m. after a 45-year-old Oxford woman reported she had discovered her phone was missing from her vehicle. The phone, a black Motorola, was thought by the woman to have gone missing between April 7 at 9 a.m. and April 9 at 6 p.m., while she had been working. According to the woman, she had not realized the phone was missing until she was recently notified that someone had attempted to access some of her phone app accounts. Deputies did not observe damage to the car.

April 13: A 43-year-old woman living in the 400 block of Chinkapin Rill called sheriff’s deputies at 7:03 p.m. to report an incident that had occurred between she and her 18-year-old son. An argument between the two allegedly began when her son and his 18-year-old girlfriend came to the home, shared by all three, with two ducks they had purchased. The woman allegedly began arguing with her son because she did not want the ducks in the house. The woman told deputies her son became very disrespectful during the argument and he punched a hole in the wall in his fury. The boy and his girlfriend allegedly packed up some items, following the incident, and left the home.
