May 24: A 41-year-old Oxford woman came into Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Oxford Substation at 12:19 p.m. and told deputies that she has allgedly been receiving harrassing phone calls and hateful text messages from a 42-year-old Clinton Twp. woman. The woman provided copies of the blocked calls and text messages. Deputies later called the suspect and asked to verify her identity but were allegedly told “I can not verify that” in response. Deputies informed the suspect not to call the Oxford woman again. Deputies received a call from the suspect later, during which she allegedly called the claims of harrassment “bogus.”

May 24: Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies found a light brown dog at 2:51 a.m. near the intersection of Market St. and Chelsea Blvd. The dog was wearing a pink and blue collar with no dog tag attached and a black and white bandana. The dog was transported to animal control without incident.

May 22: A local park employee reported that shovels, rakes, and other lawn care supplies, valued at over $3,700 total, had gone missing from a park located in the 1000 block of N. Lapeer Rd. The items were allegedly left on one of the park’s picnic tables on May 19 at 3 p.m. and were found missing the following day at 8 p.m. A report was filed.
