July 8: A 45-year-old woman living in the 30 block of Ridge Field Ct. called Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies to her home at 9:05 a.m., where her vehicle, a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, had allegedly been keyed on the driver’s side doors sometime between July 7 at 11 p.m. and July 8 at 7 p.m. The woman’s 18-year-old son had spent the night at a friend’s home, where a party had taken place, and had parked the vehicle there overnight. The woman’s son later told deputies that he had been told by a friend that one of his former Oxford High classmates, an 18-year-old man, had allegedly mentioned that he had just keyed the victim’s Jeep. The woman told deputies she did not want to press charges, but that she wanted to be reimbursed for the damage to the vehicle.
