Christ the King Church’s Veterans Ministry is holding a fund-raising event on Saturday, May 20.

It’s called “A Warriors Path” (see the ad on Page 8) and it will include a 10-kilometer run beginning at 8 a.m.; a 5-kilometer run/walk starting at 8:10 a.m.; and a 2-kilometer kids run at 10 a.m.

The event is designed to honor the nation’s veterans and help those among them who need a hand.

Race day registration will occur from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.

The cost is $30 for the 10K run; $25 for the 5K run/walk; and $5 for the kids run.

Race fees include a t-shirt for the first 150 registrants, race bib, a finisher’s medal, dog tag for the kids run and post-race refreshments.

Spectators are welcome to watch for free.
