The Pride is gone

The old Pacific Pride is no more.

On Thursday, April 14, workers demolished the former commercial fueling station on the east side of M-24, just outside the village, near the Oxford Marketplace shopping center.

The station had been closed for a number of years.

Complete Auto Repair, located next door at 533 S. Lapeer Rd., has a purchase agreement in place with Clarkston State Bank for the site.

Don Blanchard, who co-owns Complete Auto Repair with Bill Mullins, said they plan to use the property for additional parking.
