18 running for twp. seats in Oxford, Addison

Eighteen candidates filed to run for 14 township board seats in Oxford and Addison prior to last week’s expiration of the deadline to appear on the Aug. 2 primary ballot.

In Oxford, Bill Dunn is running for supervisor, Curtis Wright for clerk and Joe Ferrari for treasurer. All are incumbents and all are running unopposed.

Candidates for the four trustee seats are Patti Durr (incumbent), Margaret Payne, Melvin “Buck” Cryderman (incumbent), Jack Curtis (incumbent) and Elgin Nichols.

In Addison, Bruce Pearson is running for supervisor, Pauline Bennett for clerk and Lori Fisher for treasurer. All are incumbents and all are running unopposed.

Candidates for the four trustee seats include Deanna K. Cushing, Linda Gierak (incumbent), Philip Marshall, Erich Senft (incumbent), Joel King, Jennie Eller and Jacob Newby.

All candidates in both townships are running as Republicans. All seats carry four-year terms.
