Women plead guilty

Two Brandon Township women pleaded guilty and a third woman pleaded no contest to charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder for their roles in a March 24 attack on a 21-year-old woman in the Clarkston Lakes Mobile Home Park.
Jennifer White, 23, pleaded no contest and Kristen Gallus, 20, and Vanessa Smith, 18, pleaded guilty in front of Sixth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Rae Lee Chabot on April 24.
According to police reports, the victim stated she had been called by a female juvenile neighbor twice that evening, inquiring when she would be home. When the victim arrived home, she saw the juvenile, and was then ambushed by White and another woman, hit in the back of the head and kicked several times, and sprayed with pepper spray in her face, burning her eyes and face.
Sentencing is set for 8:30 a.m., May 15, in front of Judge Chabot.
