SYNOPSIS

Of the Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on April 12, 2017 at the Oxford Township Hall Meeting Room.

PRESENT: Supervisor Dunn, Clerk Wright, Treasurer Ferrari, Trustee Nichols, Trustee Durr

ABSENT: Trustee Curtis, Trustee Payne

The following actions were taken:

Approved the Agenda as presented.

Approved the Consent Agenda as presented.

Approved to set a Second Reading and possible adoption to amend Section 8.10 of the Charter Township of Oxford Zoning Ordinance 67A.

Approved a Resolution to reconsider the previously approved Resolutions #1 and #2 and declare the proposed creation of a Special Assessment District for the treatment of aquatic weeds in Cedar Lake, Long Lake, and Tan Lake to be invalid by reason of irregularities or informalities in the proceedings.

Accepted the Resignation of Todd Bell from the Planning Commission with regrets.

Approved to appointed Jon Nold to the Charter Township of Oxford Planning Commission effective immediately to fulfill the vacancy with the term expiring December 31, 2017.

Approved to appoint Melvin Cryderman as a regular member to the Charter Township of Oxford Board of review with the term expiring December 31, 2018.

Approved to appoint Margaret Payne as the Oxford Township alternate representative to the Oxford Area Cable Communications Commission with term expiring November 20, 2020.

Approved to provide chloride service in 2017 on a 50% Township and 50% Resident participation for individual orders on public gravel roads and contract with Road Maintenance Corporation and Road Commission for Oakland County.

Approved the 2017 West Nile Virus Program.

Approved to adopt the Resolution Authorizing the West Nile Virus Fund Expense Reimbursement Request as presented.

Approved to award the 2017 Safety Path Repair Project and Cemetery Paving Project to Birmingham Sealcoat in the bid amount of $163,223.10.
