Calling all volunteers

An estimated 75 to 80 people attended a volunteer fair held Saturday afternoon at Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ in Oxford Village.

Organized by Justin Willcock, founder of the Volunteers of North Oakland County Facebook page, the event offered folks a chance to meet representatives from 17 nonprofit groups and learn about volunteer opportunities. The fair collected 120 pounds of nonperishable food items to stock the Oxford-Orion FISH pantry.
