SYNOPSIS

Of the Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on February 12, 2025 at the
Oxford Township Hall Meeting Room.
PRESENT: Supervisor Curtis, Clerk Wright, Treasurer Ferrari, Trustee Colvin, Trustee Charles, Trustee
Wagner, Trustee Omtvedt
ABSENT: None
The following actions were taken:
Approved the Agenda as amended.
Approved the Consent Agenda as presented.
Approved to adopt the Resolution in Honor of Tom Berger.
Approved the amended Second Reading of the Oxford Township Fire Department Cost Recovery Ordinance.
Approved the Second Reading of Ordinance 56.008 – Parks and Recreation.
Approved to grant conditional approval for the Ad Rite Sign Application Amendment request.
Approved to accept the resignation of Jonathan Nold, with regret from the Oxford Township Planning
Commission.
Approved to appoint Patti Durr to the Oxford Township Planning Commission.
Approved the Resolution to adopt revisions to the Oxford Township Employee Handbook, pursuant to the
Earned Sick Time Act.
Approved to award the Emergency Services Contract for 2024 Community Development Block Grant Funds in
the amount of $4,597.00 to Oxford/Orion FISH.
Approved to authorize Carlisle/Wortman and Associates, the Township Planning Consultants, to draft a text
amendment to allow automobile convenience marts as special land uses in the I-1 and I-2 zoning districts.
Approved to deny the Water Valve Damage Replacement Reimbursement Request for 1075 Island Lake Drive.
Approved to have Supervisor Curtis send the owner of 245 Indian Lake Road a letter stating Oxford Township
will no longer be responsible for any future sewer grinder pump repair maintenance at 245 Indian Lake Road.
Approved to enter into closed Session to discuss two confidential legal opinions regarding potential policy
amendment to the Township employee handbook.
Approved to return to Open Session for the purpose of possible Board action regarding the Closed Session
items.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:36 p.m.
