David John Horst of Harbor Beach (formerly of Oxford) died unexpectedly on May 28, 2022 at the age of 57.
David was born in Kearny NJ to Eugene and Grace Horst.
He is survived by his children Bradley (Celine Carr) Horst and Mitchell Horst. A brother Gene (Linda) Horst, sister Maryellen (Howard) Thomes, his nieces and nephews, many friends and his dog Miller. David worked in the sales industry selling industrial tooling. David loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed camping and the dream cruise with his 1988 Mustang.
Upon his retirement he moved to Harbor Beach where he enjoyed boating, woodworking and had joined many groups. David had a big heart and loved helping people, even at the end he was able to donate eye, skin and bone tissue to help over 80 people. David was preceded in death by his parents and brother William. Horst. A celebration of life is planned for June 25, 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach
