Donna Rae Fall (née Hackworth, formerly Santamour), age 87, of the Lapeer area, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025. Donna will be remembered most for her kindness, her generous heart and her deep love for family. She had a special gift for giving—whether it was a thoughtful present, her time or simply her presence—and she made everyone around her feel valued. She found joy in playing games, working on puzzles and spending time with the people she loved. Growing up on a horse farm, Donna developed a lifelong love of animals, especially horses. That early connection to nature and animals remained a meaningful part of her life. She also spent many proud years working at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, where she formed lasting friendships and took great pride in her work. Donna is survived by her children Becky (Mark) Weber, Jenny (Tony) Boyd, Leisha (Gene) Tackabury, and Wayne Santamour; her sister Dayle Horton; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sharon Hackworth, and her son Michael Santamour. Her gentle spirit, warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In keeping with her wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
