Members of Girl Scout Troop 76949 went on a field trip to the Addison Township Public Library on Feb. 7.

Library Director Jaema Berman gave the girls a tour of the facility. She showed them all of the resources that are available, including books, puppets and movies.

Following the tour, it was storytime. Val Logan read them the book “Here Come the Girl Scouts!” It tells the story of the organization’s founding in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low.

To cap off their visit, the scouts created Valentine’s Day cards for Addison Township firefighters.
