Julie Ann Wagner

Julie Ann (Tripp) Wagner passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, following a short illness. Born August 1st, 1959, Julie was the daughter of Robert and Donna Tripp and grew up in the family home on Park Street in Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1978. In 2004, Julie was united in marriage to Michael Wagner, who she met while both sang in the Thurlow Spurr CMI concert choir, performing regional Christmas concerts. Mike and Julie lived in Burton until his passing in 2008. Julie was also a graduate of Everest Institute and worked many years as a home health care worker. She later returned to Oxford to care for her parents, Bob and Donna Tripp. Julie loved God, church, family, singing, and playing Bingo. She will be laid to rest in the family plot in the Oxford Township Cemetery. Julie is survived by her mother Donna Tripp, now of Ludington; brother Dean Tripp of Ellenton, Florida; sister DeAnne (Curt) Nordine of Ludington; brother Ron (Debra) Tripp of Chevy Chase, Maryland; nephew Eric (Rebecca) Tripp of Nevada, Texas; nephew Caleb (Shawna) Nordine of Ludington; niece Kayleigh (Tony) Richardson of Kentwood; niece Rachel Tripp of Davis, West Virginia; niece Katherine Tripp of Vienna, Virginia; cousin Connie Campbell of Dryden; cousin Kirk (Tina) Campbell of Metamora; and several great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew. Julie was predeceased by her father, Robert Tripp, husband, Michael Wagner, and sister-in-law, Jean Tripp. Services for Julie Wagner are being handled by Lynch and Sons Funeral Directors, Bossardet Chapel in Oxford, with visitation on Thursday, May 22 at 10 a.m. and service following at 11 a.m.
