Kathleen “Kitty” Elizabeth Schultz died on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, FL. She was 77.
She was born on January 14, 1942 in Hackensack, N.J. to Alan and Louise (Schnabl) McMillan. Kitty graduated from Oxford High in 1960. She married David Schultz in June of 1961. They had three children, Marie, Michael, and Susan. Kitty was first a housewife raising their children and later was employed at the Pontiac Silverdome. Her husband David suffered an
unexpected brain aneurism and passed away in October 1974. She then moved her family to Boca Raton, FL in May of 1977. Kitty worked at Lynn Insurance Company and was a faithful member of Advent Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed playing golf, going bowling, and watching baseball. She had a big smile, kind heart, great sense of humor, and loved the Lord and her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Kitty is preceded in death by her parents Alan and Louise McMillan; husband David Schultz; and sister-in-law Ann McMillan. She is survived by her daughter Marie (Geoff) Lippman of Fairfield, CA; son Michael (Michelle) Schultz of Yakima,WA; daughter Susan (Sean) Forde of Deerfield Beach, FL; brother Alan (Buz) McMillan Jr. of Canadian Lakes, Michigan, sister Caroline (Bob) Collings of Stow, Massachusetts; grandchildren Justin (Katie) Turner, Andrew (Lamia) Turner; Jeffrey (Melissa) Lippman; Alan Schultz; Ariel (Corey) Casket; Michael (Dezarea) Esparza; Aaron, Joshua, and Rebecca Forde; pen pal of 67 years Sylvia (Cliff) Clark; 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; as well as family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, MI October 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. service in the chapel and interment will follow.
