Faith Diegel keeps her focus on the cross bar during her 10-foot pole vault last Friday at the Oakland Athletic Assoication Red & White Championships. The events played out on Oxford’s home field.
The vault was her first attempt and was good enough for second place in the event.
The Oxford girls track team won the championship, out-pacing 59 other teams with a high score of 60 points.
The Wildcat boys varsity track team tallied 52 points to finish fourth. The Lake Orion Dragons won the division with 152.5 points.
