Before their April 11 game against Clarkston was cancelled, the girls soccer team pulled off a 1-1 tie against their cross-town rivals at Lake Orion on April 9.

The Dragons took the lead early on, but freshman Carly Boyd, in Head Coach John Thaler’s words, “rocketed a great ball” near the net, where sophomore Mackenzie Methner was able to finish the job and give Oxford a tie.

The Lady Cats are now 2-2-1 overall record. The ladies took on Farmington at home on April 16 after the Leader went to press and will play again on April 18 when they host Fenton.
