On March 28, Caribou Coffee became a part of Sashabaw Road.
‘We are very excited about being in the Clarkston area,? said Manager Barb Ross. ‘We have definitely been keeping busy.?
The new coffee establishment offers many treats: from lattes and mochas to smoothies and coffee coolers. Caribou features a variety of tasty coffee and non-coffee treats in an ambiance that is casual and cozy, yet open enough for mingling.
Caribou Coffee offers beans to brew at home or a steaming cup prepared for each customer. Caribou selects the finest beans to create unique blends while upholding their reputation for the highest quality coffee. The new establishment is also the first drive-thru coffee shop in the area.
Ross has been with Caribou Coffee since July. Before transferring to the Clarkston store, Ross worked in Rochester; and when she heard about her location change, she was thrilled.
‘I trained in Rochester before moving out here,? said Ross. ‘When I found out I was being transferred to Clarkston I was so happy.
‘I love working for Caribou. Everyone I talked to who worked for the company loved their job, and now so do I.?
Ross was happy for many reasons ? she loves the Clarkston area and is pleased to be surrounded by friends.
‘I think we came into the area at a great time, and the community seems thrilled to have us here,? said Ross.
Great coffee begins with a great staff, and Ross is proud of her 18 workers. Ross said she hired the best in the area, and believes strongly that if a great staff is on board, the business will be a success.
Ross said her staff tries to accommodate every person that walks through the door. She is even willing to reserve an area for meetings while still featuring the quaint areas for conversation.
