They say everybody in the world has a double somewhere ? a doppelganger as the Germans call it.
Well, it appears actor/comedian Robin Williams? twin lives right here in Oxford in the form of a 7?-month-old baby named Tanner Eubanks.
A photo of little Tanner (shown above) was featured on the Jan. 6 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs locally at 10 a.m. daily on WDIV-TV Channel 4 in Detroit.
The syndicated daytime talk show features a regular segment called ‘Celebrity Look-A-Like Babies,? which involves viewers sending in photos of babies who resemble Hollywood stars.
Those baby photos lucky enough to be selected for the show are aired side-by-side with their corresponding celebrity twin while DeGeneres comments on them.
Tanner’s mother, Tracy, submitted the photo via the show’s official website.
She said her son doesn’t always resemble the famous Williams.
‘It’s only when he makes this certain face when he smiles,? she said. ‘I finally caught it on camera.?
Tracy said she’s thrilled her baby’s photo was part of the show, but the only down side is she hasn’t seen it. She was at a dentist appointment when the episode aired.
However, Tracy has since learned the Jan. 6 episode will be rerun on cable television’s Oxygen Network at 11 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13.
