How have you grown as an individual during your years at OHS? During my years at OHS, I’ve challenged myself with rigorous academics while participating in sports, clubs, and volunteer activities. Sometimes it was difficult to balance everything, but each year I became better at setting goals, maintaining my priorities, and managing my time. I even found some new interests along the way! Looking back, I now realize how far my determination allows me to reach my goals. The experiences I’ve had at OHS give me more confidence in my potential as a student and as an individual.

What most concerns me about the world is: Health disparities (the inequality of health care to all socioeconomic groups) both locally and globally

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen? High school is a place where you can explore your interests and learn from your mistakes. Take advantage of the many opportunities OHS has to offer. Sometimes learning about the things you don’t like is just as important as learning about what you do like.

My greatest achievement so far has been: Nationally recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction by taking 7 advanced placement classes my junior year and scoring high on all exams.

I look forward to contributing to my community by: Continuing volunteer efforts and encouraging others to get involved.
