Board Meeting Synopsis

The Addison Township Board; its elected members Supervisor Pearson, Clerk Bennett Treasurer, Fisher, Trustee King,  Trustee Newby, Trustee Gierak and Trustee Senft held regular meetings on December 17, 2018 and January 14, 2019 at 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard MI 48367.  The following action was taken:

December 17, 2018

Presented Josh Schoenherr an Award.

Approved the Agenda.

Approved/authorized the Consent Agenda: consisting of the minutes, bills, Sheriff’s Agreement, No Haz Agreement, Board Meeting Dates, Clinton River Watershed Dues, reimbursement for five residents late registration,

Appointments: Park Committee: Rod Blaszyk and David Kostick

Planning Commission: Chuck Sargent and Geno Malia

Board Of Review:  G. Mallia, S. Breuning, P. Marshall and J. Schnur

Park Rangers:  Art  Burny, Carol Beens, Lou Burney, Tom and Chris Podsiadlik, Joe Schnur, John Phelan, Michelle Litkouhi and Marilyn  Elsarelli

Waived purchasing ordinance as sole provider and purchase of 10 sets of turn out gear from Douglass Safety for $20,500.

Smith Landing Township Beach discussion and moved for no action for the site.

Authorized a public notice hearing for the (Prohibition) Marihuana Regulations.

Introduction of the Budget.

January 14, 2019

Approved the agenda consisting of December 17, 2018  Minutes, bills as paid for December.

Resolution adopting Ordinance 19-1, Prohibition of Marihuana Establishments.

Authorization of Public Notice for a Public Hearing in February for the budget.

Resolution adopting the Wage Resolutions for Clerk, Supervisor, Treasurer, Trustees and Wage Compensation.
