General Notice
Village of Oxford (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Park Street Rehabilitation
21L0062
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at Village Hall; 22 W. Burdick, Oxford, MI 48371 until September 8, 2021 at 2:00 p. m. local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Crush and Shape Park Street from West End to Jersey Street, install new HMA surface.
Principal items of work include but are not limited to:
994 Syd HMA Base Crushing and Shaping
220 Ton HMA, LVSP

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract: Park Street Rehabilitation, 21L0062.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at Dodge Data & Analytics; Construction Association of Michigan; Construct Connect; the Builders Exchange of Lansing (Builders Exchanges are authorized to share the contract documents with other exchanges of Michigan).
Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract documents for submitting a bid must be obtained upon application at the office of ROWE Professional Services Company, upon the payment of $40 per set for prints, or $30 for portable document format (PDF) files which can be obtained after completing the Request Bid Package form found at https://www.rowepsc.com/visitor-resources/plan-holder. The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Prints and PDF files may be purchased together for $60.
Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Plans and specifications will not be mailed/e-mailed until payment is received. The non-refundable fee shall be by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover accepted) or in check form and shall be drawn payable to ROWE Professional Services Company. The Engineer’s address is ROWE Professional Services Company, 128 N. Saginaw Street, Lapeer, MI 48446 and the telephone number is (810) 664-9411. Bidding documents must be purchased from the Engineer. Bids submitted on forms obtained anywhere besides the office of ROWE Professional Services Company will not be accepted. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Instructions to Bidders
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The Village of Oxford, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner.

TO REPEAL ORDINANCE No. 411
PROHIBITION OF MARIHUANA ESTABLISHMENTS ORDIANCE
Please take notice that the Village of Oxford Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter in Council Chambers located at 22 W. Burdick Street, Oxford, MI. 47371 This Public Hearing is being held for the purpose of holding a Second Reading to repeal Ordinance 411: Prohibition of Marihuana Establishments Ordinance.
A complete copy of the ordinance is available for review on-line, or by contacting the office of the Village Clerk, 22 W. Burdick, Oxford, 48371, during regular business hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Phone: 248-628-2543. Physically challenged persons needing assistance or aid at the public hearing are asked to contact the Village Clerk during regular business hours not less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the public hearing to make special arrangements. Anyone wishing to comment on the Prohibition of Marihuana Establishments Ordinance may do so in person, at the public hearing or in writing by mail addressed to: Village of Oxford Clerk, P.O. REQUEST FOR BIDS
Water Line service leads
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bids for replacement of water service leads at 13 residential locations in the Village will be accepted in the Office of the Village Manager, 22 W. Burdick, P.O. Box 94, Oxford, MI 48371 until 4:00 p.m. September 7th and will be opened at that time.
The work will consist of replacement of the water service line from the curbstop to the water meter inside the building including all materials, boring and rough grade restoration. The water box and rod will be provided by the Village if needed. A list of the properties is available upon request at manager@thevillageofoxford.org.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: “Water service line replacement Bid”. For further information contact the Village at 248-628-2543 or email manager@thevillageofoxford.org. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or technicalities regarding the bids when deemed to be in the best interest of the Village.
