Thanks for stopping, Ma’am

Clover Sales

Members of Oxford AMVETS Post 108 were on the streets last week distributing four-leaf clovers and collecting donations. Post Commander Jerry Daniels (left) manned the east side of Burdick St. Daniels is an Oxford resident and a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1966-68. The white clover means “remember me” and is the official flower of the AMVETS. The white clover program has been around since 1946 and proceeds from it are used, at the post’s discretion, to help veterans, their family members and the general public.
