Thomas Albert Scott, of Oxford, passed away on Dec. 13, 2018. He was 70.
Tom was the beloved husband of Faye for 50 years; loving father of Tommy (Trish) Scott, Todd (Jessica) Scott, Timmy (Ginger) Scott and Terry (Carrie) Scott; loving grandfather of 18; and great-grandfather of one. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Scott.
Tom was a retired iron worker after many years. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local 25 and a member of the Sons of the American Legion.
When he wasn’t working, Tom enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything. He was jokester, and was always able to make people feel comfortable and put a smile their face.
Tom enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, relaxing and anything else that went along with living on the lake. He was big Michigan Football fan and he always held out hope that one day the Lions would win the Super Bowl.
Tom was a good man, a loving family man and he will be dearly missed.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 19 at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Wik officiating. Visitation was at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
Interment will be at Ridgelawn Memorial Cemetery in Oxford.
