Timothy Haynes

Michigan to Sharron and Charles Haynes. He was raised in Oxford, Michigan. He loved being part of a large family and had a large circle of friends, many that were as close as family. He was the proud father of Alicia and Tim Jr., and honored to be “grandpa” to Lorelai and Hadley. He married his wife Susan in 2012, and they shared a home in Leonard with their dog Diesel and cat Almond. Tim had just celebrated 20 years of service at Cooper Standard, where he made many friends. It brought him so much joy to attend family reunions, barbecues, holiday parties, poker games, and any occasion that he could share good times with good people.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother Sharron, father Charles, sisters Kimberly and Cheryl, and brothers Charles and Robert. He is survived by his wife, his children, step-children and grandchildren, step-mom and brothers and their families, nieces, nephews  and many other family members and friends, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Due to the current restrictions on social gatherings, a visitation in the traditional sense where people would gather together and visit for long periods of time is not permitted. However, it is important to Timothy’s family that there is an opportunity for family and friends to enter the funeral home briefly and pay their final respects. With that in mind, visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 1:00-7:00 PM. In an attempt to avoid large groups of people arriving at the funeral home at the same time, the funeral home and family have established designated visiting times. If your last name starts with A – D from 1:00 –2:00, E – H from 2:00 – 3:00, I – L from 3:00 – 4:00, M – P from 4:00 – 5:00, Q – T, from 5:00 – 6:00, U -Z 6:00 – 7:00.  Please adhere to the designated arrival times. If you are unable to come at the designated times you are still welcome, especially if you work at Cooper-Standard.  Be advised that no more than 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at a time, so we would encourage your time paying your respects be kept brief. Masks are required and please practice social distancing.

A graveside service and interment of cremated remains will take place at Ortonville Cemetery, 175 North Ortonville Rd, on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 1 PM.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
