Victory continues to elude lacrossers

The Varsity Lacrosse team suffered two more defeats this past week against Davison and Swartz Creek.
On Tuesday, May 4, Oxford lost 7-4 to Davidson. Oxford trailed 5-2 at halftime before cutting the lead to 5-4 by the end of the third period.
Davison came back with a strong fourth period, scoring two goals while shutting down the Wildcat offense.
Junior Konrad Thaler had three goals and junior Matt Frisch added a goal and two assists. Senior Derick Stinson had 19 saves in the game.
On Thursday, May 6, Oxford got shut out by Swartz Creek, losing 11-0.
The boys host Stoney Creek High School on Friday, May 14 beginning at 7 p.m.
