Business Expo 2004 bigger, better

Brandon Twp. – There is no better way to meet the face behind the name of a business than to attend the third Annual Business Expo.
The business expo is hosted by the Greater Ortonville Chamber of Commerce to showcase and promote the area business resources.
‘With the growth we’ve experienced in the area, this Expo is our opportunity to show the community that they don’t have to travel to meet their growing needs,? said Jackie Nowicki, Chair of the Expo committee.
‘It’s a great way for the community to see what our businesses have to offer.?
As word spreads about one of Ortonville’s most celebrated events, the Third Annual Business Expo promises to be bigger and better than the previous two, with the addition of eight more vendor tables with additional outdoor space for businesses with a landscape, patio, construction theme, or displays that are larger than life.
‘The Expo is going to be bigger and better this year and everybody is really excited about it,? Nowicki said.
Representative of the cooperative efforts of the community, for the third year, Brandon High School is providing the Expo space. High school students volunteer to assist exhibitors in setup and greeting. The high school Jazz Band will again provide the evening entertainment.
Each exhibitor will offer door prizes throughout the evening, as well as promotional take-home products and for vendors, quality brochures and ad specials will be available through the Chamber.
‘This has always been a loyal community and I hear this over and over again,? said Nowicki.
‘We have a business community that works well together in promoting one another and the Expo confirms the successful joint efforts.?
