Local artist Jeremy Paskell created a hand-painted version of the Oxford Township logo and placed it behind the dais in the board of trustees meeting room last week.
The logo was designed by Cole Dienes in 2023.
“Paskell’s work looks wonderful and really brightens up the room. Over the last couple years, Paskell has been adding his personal touch to our community. He painted the Oxford Fire Department’s logo and Sparky, the National Fire Protection Association’s mascot, in the bay at Station #1,” said Oxford Township Communications and Grants Manager C.J. Carnacchio.
Paskell also added the Wildcat logo and an OHS football helmet to a garage along Seymour Lake Rd., just east of Coats Rd.
“Thank you, Mr. Paskell. We appreciate your skills and commitment to beautifying Oxford,” Carnacchio said. – J.N.
