Oxford DDA releases 2025 events calendar

Oxford’s Downtown Development Authority released its 2025 events calendar on Feb. 24.
The first upcoming event is St. Paddy’s Day Pre-Game on March 15. The trolley will run between downtown Oxford and Lake Orion between 5-11 p.m. for the event. Tickets are $25, and include a participant t-shirt, which is required to receive specials from participating businesses.
The summer concert series is from June 19, through Aug. 14. Performances will be Thursday evening in Centennial Park. Performers are yet to be announced.
The summer market will begin on July 10 and run through Aug. 14. Visitors will find area produce and crafted products in Washington Square every Thursday evening.
The American Summer pub crawl will be on June 27. Lake Orion American Summer’s pub crawl expanded to downtown Oxford in 2024, offering drink specials, food specials, live entertainment and more to participants. The event is designed to promote area restaurants and promote both downtowns.
Scarecrow Fest will be held on Oct. 5. Visitors may see scarecrows decorated by local businesses and visit Centennial Park for Halloween-themed activities.
Witches’ Night will take place on Oct. 24. Witches of all ages are invited to dress in costumes and visit downtown Oxford.
The Soup and Sweet Stroll returns to downtown Oxford on Dec. 5 when visitors can sample soups and sweets from local restaurants and businesses.
Rounding out the year on Dec. 14, will be the Polar Express and holiday market.
