Gay Ann Hallock, formerly of Clinton, NY, New York City, NY, Rochester, MI, and Oxford, MI peacefully passed away on March 18, 2025 at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy MI, after an extended battle with lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyland “Red” Hallock and Helen Hallock Hurlburt, brother Fred Hallock and nephew Carl Dietz. Remaining to cherish her memory are her beloved daughter Jessica and son-in-law Zack Locuson of Addison, Texas; brothers Gale (Linda) Hallock of Davison, MI and Rob (Shirley) Hallock of Roscommon, MI; sisters Judy Coscarelli of Bangor, ME and sister Judith “Vicki” Hallock of South Bend, In; nephew Bob Hallock of Davison, MI; grand-niece Honey Mattingly of Owensboro, KY; nieces Debbie (Michael) Cookish of Denver, CO, Linda (Joe) Chatfield of Healy, Ak, Laura (Rod) Wiley of Bangor, ME, Vickie Dietz of Ashville, NC and Laurie Dietz of Springfield, MA; and Aunt Nancy Bruske of Grand Blanc, MI. Also her lifelong “sister of another mother” Debbie Zanardo of AZ. Gay began her working career as a Nurses Aid, then an LPN and after graduating from Western Michigan University, a career in Hospital Administration. Health issues plagued Gay the final years of her life. Her passion and devotion to her daughter, Jessica, son in law, Zack and her family remained her priority.
