Being named to the Flint Metro League All Conference team is a league-wide acknowledgment of athletic excellence and superior performance.
According to Oxford Athletics administrative assistant Toni Streit, First Team and Second Team athletes are nominated and receive votes based on their outstanding performances during the season.
FML head coaches make the nominations and vote for the athletes whom they believe best played their team positions.
Eleven Oxford football players were named to the First and Second All Conference teams for 2004.
