Little Caesar’s returns to town

Brandon Twp.- They’re back.
After nearly two years out of the community, Little Caesar’s opened a new location at 969 S. Ortonville Road on Oct. 31.
‘What’s faster than a 747?? asks Jeff Larbig, owner of the pizza franchise, then, smiling, answers, ‘Little Caesar’s.?
The plug not only promotes the restaurant, but also is a jab at Jet’s Pizza, which has a pie called the 747. Jet’s displaced Little Caesar’s in February 2005, when the owner of Jet’s bought the building at the corner of M-15 and Mill Street that Larbig had been renting since April 2003.
However, Larbig believes he now has the best location, by Brandon High School, McDonald’s and Frosty Boy.
The building was formerly a doctor’s office, and additions have been made to the front and back. The store has 1,500 square feet, with a full basement. The dining area has a seating capacity of 15 and Larbig would like to add outdoor seating. The store is also equipped with a drive-thru.
Larbig also owns Little Caesar’s franchises in Linden, Fenton, and Clarkston.
‘It’s a great product at a fair price,? he said.
Pizzas include round, deep dish, and the famous ‘hot and ready? pizza. Available toppings include pepperoni, ham, chicken, sausage, bacon, beef, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, green or black olives, anchovies, and pineapple. Specialty pizzas can be ordered. Dough is made fresh daily.
Larbig also offers garlic cream cheese dip, his own recipe, which he says is great on bagels or Little Caesar’s Crazy bread. Other menu offerings include salads, cheese bread, chicken wings, cinnamon sticks, calzone and stromboli sub sandwiches.
In a few weeks, once the new staff is trained, Little Caesar’s will also offer old-fashioned pita style sub sandwiches.
Customers never need worry about getting fresh pizza when the town loses power, either. Larbig has a generator to keep him in business in the town that he says has given him a lot of support in the past and even while he has been closed.
He is glad to be back.
