Man sentenced

Jeffrey Shane Nunnery, 35, of Orion, was sentenced June 28 to 89 months to 40 years in prison for second degree home invasion, possession of burglary tools and felony habitual offender fourth offense. The charges stemmed from an April home invasion in Brandon Township.
In addition to the prison time, Sixth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Michael D. Warren, Jr. also ordered Nunnery to pay $3,358.95 in restitution and costs.
On April 27, Nunnery broke into a home in the 3900 block of Olde Farm Lane and stole two laptop computers, $250 cash, and a $250 gift card, among other items.
