Hundreds set up lawn chairs, spread blankets and relaxed with family and friends at Depot Park on Friday for the summer’s first Concert in the Park.
But it wasn’t long before the band’Clarkston natives Rick and Dayna Lieder’had the crowd bouncing beach balls, doing the Hokey-Pokey, the Hustle and, of course, the Chicken Dance.
Concerts in the Park, sponsored by the Clarkston area Chamber of Commerce, are free and begin with local talent at 6:30. Upcoming headliners include: GDaddy’s, June 27; Gary Pillow, July 11; Grievous Angel, July 17; and Legend the Band, July 25. No concert July 4.
